Beer Lovers with a Running Problem

With all the hard work that goes into opening a brewery, one might wonder how we here at Dockside Brewery cope. You might think that we simply drink our brews to get us through and that’s not far from the mark. But last weekend we spent time fulfilling our other passions, we love to commune with nature on the running trails. We fell in with a rough crowd, The Hash House Harriers. A group with the self imposed motto, “A drinking group with a running problem”. To us here at Dockside Brewery it sounded like a perfect fit. Run a little, drink a little, and run a little more. But oh it was so much more than that. This great group of men and women love to brew, camp, and take to the woods for a good time.

We also had the opportunity to provide some libation by bringing in a few kegs of our beers for the group to try. I have to tell you that the reception to our “Anal Probe — Jalapeno Mexican Cerveza”, and our “Death By Chocolate XX Chocolate Stout” was incredible. The kegs floated in a few hours. Our AAA—Amber Ale was gone in a flash. We received high praises on the names and branding as well.

For a good time, great people, and a lot of beer, I would highly suggest you find a local hash group and get your run on. If not, at least start looking for Dockside Brewery beers and get your drink on.

Keep in mind the strong and lite veisrons of these beers is typically something like 4% ABV and 5.8 6% ABV. Not much distinction overall. The rest is marketing, I think.
